Good you are aware of scammers. They deserve a special place in Hell, it seems. And that cleaning lady is something else! It is so hard to get anyone to come in these days. Our wonderful cleaning lady from pre-Covid got sick with something to do with her lungs and doesn't clean anymore. Take care and have a great day.

This is the world we live in. Many years ago, scammers used the Ponzi scheme to rip people off. Earlier this year I had a similar scam attempt when I placed a table for sale on Facebook Marketplace. They asked me if I had a Zelle account. I told them no. So they told me they would help me set one up so that they could pay for the table, but I first had to put money in the account to open it. Thankfully, I am a researcher first and foremost and told them no. I later learned this was a popular scam and no bank will refund your money if you willingly give it to a scammer. Be glad that you dodged that bullet. Have a wonderful day. ![Regular smile](https://blogit.blob.core.windows.net/static/emoticons/regular_smile.gif)

Perhaps one in a hundred fall for a scam. A pity it is not traceable.
One thing the Banks here have wised up at last and send confirm
messages before any different sum of money is paid out.
Yes once a fortnight is adequate for cleaners . I even let the
rain clean my windows. 🌺🌺🌷

Good Morning
Kabu, thankfully you didn't go along with this scam. I never answer the phone unless I know who it is so I'm sure they've tried to call me but they are out of luck. I hope you have a good day. Stay warm!

Thank You
Scammers tend to target people 65 and older. My mother also warned me of these scams. A red flag always goes up when I win a contest I never entered and when they want me to give them money to get more Money. Or they want my bank account info or social security number.
