It seems that every generation has its share of bullies. Deliberately harming and humiliating others who are weaker or smaller is what makes them tick. They lack social skills, so they figure it is the only way to get attention. Sad.

There were always Bullies one stuck my hand with a pen and I still have the mark.

Funnily enough I could beat him in a fight but he would frighten two other boys to help

him.

My eldest Son had a terrible time learning at school and the smart boys tended to ignore him but the bullies liked him for he was no threat. Too small to be a popular sportsman, but handsome enough to attract girls. He wasn't bullied as much as I had feared. He's still handsome in his fifties, but very successful in business as well and a pretty good yachtsman.

I've never understood Bullies.  They are no fun to be around!

Pat....

I don't remember ever being bullied at school, though there was one girl that always turned up her nose at me like she thought I was not worthy of her time or attention.  That was OK as I didn't lack for friends and fun family.

I'm sorry you were bullied.  Why bullies are supported I don't know.
