Re: Good afternoon Sherri

Thank you how kind, I will pass the cooking tip on. The chef  is a bit wasteful years ago the mother would have made a meal from the meat he left on it.

Re: Good Evening Goldiec

Well it sounds as though you have plenty of wild life many years ago we did have those tiny deer passing through and there are still large deer roaming in the country side .

Good Evening

My turkey is usually moist so you may be right about having an old turkey.  You have a lot of leftovers.  It's been a long time since I've seen a fox.
We have so many coyotes and deer.  When we moved in years ago we used to have a lot of groundhogs but I haven't seen one in years. We used to have one that lived under our shed but the shed got old and we had to get rid of it and then the groundhog was gone.  I've only ever seen one skunk.  I hope you have a good night.  We are expecting storms but I hope they pass us by.

you have good advice here about the Turkey, or you could feed the foxes!. I am so happy the hunt can't get the fox anymore. I nearly started a brawl in a pub in I forget now, somewhere close to Wales one time. They were all blokes from the hunt and cheeky me told them off for such cruelty. i was asked quietly by the owner if i minded leaving!Smile with tongue out

Good afternoon

You have quite a bit going on. I pray that your SIL feels better. As for that turkey, maybe make it into a cream-based casserole to soften it up just a bit. Regular smile

Not all my leftover turkey comes out tender and tempting after a stint in the freezer. If I had a cat, I'm sure she would turn up her nose at it. The only cure is to run it through the grinder, mix in some relish, onions and mayo and make sandwich fillings out of it.
