Wow! that was quite frosty sometimes the earth holds some warmth and the frost does not linger, but at that temperature one would not want many new shoots to brave the elements. 🌺

I was in the junior play in high school, a minor role in a comedy. I played an old maid librarian, had a couple of laugh lines that brought a very satisfying audience response. I have great admiration for actors and comics, and for those who build sets and create wardrobe - it's a team sport and every player is necessary for success. I hope your freeze doesn't kill off your flowers and fruit crops.
