Son Stopped By with a delivery.....
.....before I even had coffee or breakfast. We visited so long that when he left I had lunch instead of breakfast.

Sounds like a nice way to start the morning, just a little change of scene. Too bad the dream got away from you. Happens to me most of the time, too.

Last day today as the kids fly away today.
They go for a 5--10 K. walk each morning early, and pick up a coffee for themselves on the way. Jim gets up before they get back and fixes the kitchen I wander out when Graysome comes into the bedroom to let me know everyone is having breakfast.Time for me to get up, enjoy my coffee, nibble on the end of a bit of toast or something and clean up the plates. The kids are still packing and in a few hours we will say good bye at the airport.I have that numb feeling I get inside myself when I would want to cry but I never do. I have just been sitting looking at them all morning, my precious ones. Now if some of their kids came over ...but flying is expensive and when you are just starting to get into your first job after University days and buying a house or paying rent, expensive flights are probably not on your agenda.perhaps we could meet in Hawaii but could I fly that far? probably not. and it has become such an expense.
We had rain last night and it is cold today and dull. Yep perfect weather for my mood; but don't worry i am actually feeling so blessed they have been over to be with me.and have seen and love so much of the USA.
