In Australia it is compulsory to vote and you get a fine if you don't. I feel sometimes the people who complain the most never vote.

I am behind you on this 100%. I have always felt that the people who do not vote should not be allowed a voice when it comes to any and all political issues. Voting is important and every single one of us as American citizens should do our civic duty. Get to the polls and vote!
