Dogs were always present in our house. Neighbors's dogs would have litters and give us one. I love collies. They are so lovable and easy going.
I think more of the love they gave...those happy times.

I suppose it is sad in a way., but you have always looked after some one or a pet.

Good Evening
I love reading about your family. I feel like I know your bird, animals, family members, and friends. I think you have such a loving home for everyone. It sounds to me like you all take care of each other and that's what I call priceless. We only have Sadie but she's like a full-time job. I do wish I had one more dog for her to have a companion. We all talk about getting another dog which I would like to be a rescue dog but I wonder if Sadie could handle it. I hope you have a good night.

I cannot endure the thought of the puppy's aging. Seems such a short time ago and That parrot i expected to outlive us all!. Graysome of course is 16 now and Jim is 80 in September as I will be 79 Soon. Sis is 82 and write of being frail but her daughters write to me she has just decided not to work any more around the house , but still tends to her garden....eeks that sounds like me as well!

It's good you have one another. But these days at my age I'm glad there's no one else depending on me for meals, walks and exercise, etc. Or any that I might trip over.
