It is strange we expect gale force winds, but then 15C warmer once it would have

been weeks of snow. I filled a barrel with hay and the old cat was in it this morning

it only drinks full cream milk, and seems no worse for it.  🌺

I never get tired of staying inside when there is lots of snow and ice outside now that I'm not a kid with a sled.  That was fun then.  Now I'd rather read a book in a comfy warm chair with a cup of coffee or hot tea by my side.

Good morning

It is freezing here too. I spent the morning shoveling off the walkway so that the mailman doesn't slip and fall. John is stuck working a double today because his relief called off due to not having a babysitter for his kids because the schools are all closed today. Stay warm and enjoy your day. Regular smile

Keeping warm seems to be on everyone's agenda first and foremost today! Here in Colorado, too. Stay warm and safe!

We got a half-inch of snow overnight, it's clear and cold 9 degrees this morning. School is in for the kids across the street, but I don't know about the area's public schools. Some do remote learning so there may be no escape from the routine for them. Cleveland has been the target for some of the worst snow & cold - I hope you are well stocked up on coffee. ☕

My indoor heat shows 70 degrees but I'm in here sitting in a coat because it feels cold to me.  I think I'll go in the kitchen and bake something.  The oven always warms things up.
