Good afternoon
This is a sweet story about coming of age. Sixteen is such an awkward age. You're almost an adult, yet still a kid. Climbing out of a shell is not easy for many people, but it can be done under the right circumstances. I learned that working in the restaurant business is one of the best places for this to take place. It worked for all three of my daughters, who are on the shy side. My middle daughter still works at a restaurant as a cook at a 50s diner with her husband. Thanks for sharing your story.

I remember starting boarding school. I was OK in the boarding house because that first weekend it was just we 8th graders starting early by ourselves to get to know each other but Monday, Oh my goodness 600 girls all excited to see each other again I was lost. We never had more than 15 kids at school in the bush grades 1-7. I cried my eyes out.

I guess you climbed out of your shell pretty quickly/ Of course you had needed that shell
or you would have have made it into the great beyond. I agree we are pretty full up with
unpleasantness and a little recreation is probably justified. 🌺🌺
