Good Morning

I've been seeing a lot of commercials to help the dogs.  They are so sad.  I'm tempted to send money at times.  I'm always telling Sadie how good she has it.  They show dogs out in the freezing cold.  It's too much for me.  No

Pat

Well Pat I just give to six charities at Christmas time. Sadly they seem to spend

so much on repeat calls one wonders what percentage is allotted to resends. 🌺🌺

Even Jesus said, "The poor you have with you always."

He also said, "If you see a need...."    What we have here is a person who says he saw  a need and "YOU" need to help him.   Does that one help?  Or does he only tell others to help?

You and I seem to always be the same thinking. For years now I only give directly. To a friend in need a local charity. For eg. A Bus would take Wiley into town sometimes to give me a break. Then the Bus would bring him home. I paid for his round trip but many people can't. So I gave my yearly donation to them.Another year I bought kids fishing rods and put them under the local Christmas tree in the Mall. There were so many dolls and cuddly toys for little ones I gave for older children who are forgotten.

Good morning

You nailed this one. The ads are designed to tug at your heart, but the end results would lead to a person going without themselves if they helped every charity that is asking for donations. Sad, but true.
