Good morning

Wrapping paper is a big waste. We use pretty Christmas gift bags that we save and use year after year. Regular smile

Good Afternoon

I hope your bags don't get wet.  That would not be good!  Have a good day and remember to have a cup of tea with some honey and lemon in it for a special treat.  It's chilly here but the ice and snow are melting.

Re: Pat

Good thinking Pat. I'll bet in the past it was easier to fill an old sock.

I remember once my brother wrapped a cockerel's head and pushed it down

into the sister's stocking.

Re: Kabu

Yes very economical. I only use cheap white paper bags and cheap presents and the little birds keep going cheap, cheap, cheap. Well it sounds like that. 🌺🌺

Re: FS

Glad to see you back although you do not read replies to comments on comments. Once it took along time but time.

Re: sea gypsy

Thank you S.G. Once on u-tube I saw a  girl picking them and rubbing them over her hands. It was to cure something. Perhaps your nettles are fiercer than ours. 🌺

I really enjoyed your post. The stinging nettles weren't good for your hands though. Do take care out in the rain delivering gifts. Red rose

I have come to using Christmas bags and then they can put them away and pass them on another day. You are doing well dear Friend.

Your post is so on point! Not being able to wrap neatly enough to suit myself and resorting to tucking gifts in paper bags. On the other hand, kids will rip apart the most carefully wrapped packages, shredding the delicate paper, their object is what's inside. So maybe we need not worry about taking the easy way with it.  Have a cozy day.
