How times have changed and of course farm driving was so different to town driving. I started steering the truck with dad on the back when I was three and four years old. goodness me, though I am glad the story isn't as horrible as was reported to you.

When I was 15...
The boy across the street my age was allowed to drive the car for errands even though he was not licensed. About this time, then, his mom asked him to drive the Christmas Cards to the post office to mail. Police noticed that he looked young and attempted to stop him. He took out at high speeds to get away and the police shot him in the back of the head. They claimed they were shooting at the tires and the car bounced. It was a sad Christmas in our neighborhood as everyone liked Billy Elkins and felt so sorry for the family.

Good afternoon
This is some seriously sage advice. Keeping alert when running around through stores and parking lots, one has to watch their surroundings.

Good Afternoon
Pat, your news sounds like our news every day. Some of it is true and some of it is left to the discretion of the reader. There are so many incidents involving children. It is very sad. I hope you have a wonderful day.
