I think warm milk on soggy cereal would make me howl, too. I like my Cheerios with cold milk, thank you - but oatmeal needs a pat of melting butter and a slight teaspoon of brown sugar stirred in before pouring on the milk. And a side order of toast & marmalade...

I hope your tummy is feeling better and you have your meds. Black coffee is hard on my system. It’s good but I add milk to cut the acid. Then I need to take an enzyme for the lactose. Yes, old memories are easier to gather than our short-term memories at times.

Good afternoon Kabu, I know the pain of slow digestion. I have gastroparesis and I take Creon to help my food digest. Without it I am in sooo much pain, I did find some over-the-counter at Walmart called Pancrantese that they say in comparable to the Creon you might pick it up to get you by till you get your prescription. It helped me when I was out and had to wait for a new prescript to arrive.
