Good afternoon
DNA is strange in how it works, but I enjoy learning about it. I look just like my paternal grandmother, and I have her tall frame as well. I don't remember her, but all of my cousins say that I have her personality.

My sister and one cousin are like that. There were the same age and from their baby pictures you couldn't tell them apart. They acted the same way also and were always buddies.

Same here, except my mom's sisters were all very blonde and my dad had been blonde as a kid. But like you, I stood out as the odd one in a family portrait. But I also had a few blonde cousins.

everyone in my family had dark hair, from mother and father's side. I was blonde and so was one cousin!!

I certainly resemble my sister and mother but to the point where people would do double takes.
When I look at baby pictures of my aunt and cousin, I'm amazed how much they looked alike at the same age. If I could not tell the date from the quality of the photo, I would not be able to guess

Interesting post!
Was surprised by an old photo of my great grandma. Except for the white hair, she looked just like my younger daughter - even the way she held her head. I enjoyed reading that author many years ago.
