Yes, it is like if one paints a white dove blue it is fatal. I suspect in early life it made a difference to the tribe. 🌺

It is a pity and disheartening that so many people are short-sighted, that they refuse to live and let live, that they believe that only their way matters.

I was totally sheltered from all of this as a child. I had a male first cousin who was homosexuals'. He swung his hips like a girl and me and my sister would walk like him to make our mother laugh. I was nearly thirty when I discovered truths...like another cousin my own age who lived with another woman. Left her marriage and, well I had to grow up and find out about the real world and of course if you love people you love them for who they are.

Re: Sherri G
I haven't spent time in the men's facilities, and some women's bathrooms ARE a mess. And in my home, the boys might forget to put the seat back down, but they were never any messier than the girls.

I agree that we need to be more sensitive to this very sensitive topic.

Good morning
Thank you for touching on this topic. As the mother, sister, niece, cousin-in-law, and friend of members of those who identify as LBGTQ, I understand quite a bit of the issues that they face. On the other hand, that bathroom issue is another story. I used to own a commercial/residential cleaning business in which we cleaned multiple properties. For whatever reason, the women's bathrooms were always dirtier than the men's bathrooms.
