I just look at it as one big holiday season starting with Halloween and ending with New Years

Good afternoon
I have noticed that. They shot straight from Halloween crap to Christmas decorations. I'm guessing that family values are shifting from what they once were.

The merchants have chosen more or less Halloween time to start pushing Christmas. I'm pretty good at ignoring the commercial noise, thankfully.

Re: Sea-Gypsy
I am afraid we are a spoiled people and most of the time forget the beauty of being Thankful in the rush of daily living. It is easier to just watch the Thanksgiving parade.

They've been putting up Christmas bling right next to the
Halloween displays, and the candy displays are smack dab in front of the entrance, or maybe I just notice this because I've sworn off sweets. I'm a bit tired of the whole thing, to tell the truth...

Good Morning
In Cleveland, the stores have Thanksgiving and Christmas at the same time. They don't want to miss out on a chance to make money. Holidays are very commercial.
