Re: Kabu
Kabu, when we were kids fish and chips was 6p of course things have gone up over the
years. If one has a large potion of fish and chips it will knock you back ten pounds.
I often think I could have bought a small cottage with quite a good piece of ground £250.
We have sold building plots £120.About 24years ago my brother bought a new house here
It was £1500 now it is valued at £4000. Not good news for those who saved for retirement.
How would you like a nice beef burger sold at the local firework display £8/50.🌷🌷🌷

Oh my goodness. I couldn't afford to be in England any more. Gave my boys all my money. I remember, oh back in the early 90's the Australian dollar took a dive and I changed 1000 for some pounds and got 300. Eeks I guess it would be like that again. Once in Egypt, I tried to buy something with an Australian pound but they were smart. They demanded stirling!!!

Prices here have also jumped for food items one buys at the
supermarket, also cleaning supplies, etc. I hope your old cat does all right. I dare not have a pet these days, especially a small one that I could trip over. I do admire the ability of a cat to adapt so as to make a pet of a human.
