Good morning
This is great news! An extra large bedroom will be really nice. No need to continue to get injured in a room that is meant for rest and love. Those bumps and bruises take forever to heal. I am forever finding bruises on my arms with no idea of how they got there.

Glad that you are making out. One has to make the most of things.
Once I bought a pint of bitter for one shilling. Now it is 5 pounds.
I suppose one must move with the times. The neighbour had a couple of days
paint work on his house £400. One cannot get fish and chips for sixpence any
longer.

I hope the renovation goes quickly and turns out just the way
you like it! An en suite bathroom used to seem like such a luxury to me, and then I got thinking about how it would be with a roommate. In that situation each should have their own en suite bathroom, with a powder room for visitors. Don't like the idea of friends or relatives snooping through my medicine cabinet. It will be good to have the ouchies on your shins heal up when there's room to get around the bed...
