Dementia has led to many a person holding their breath. I'm glad that was avoided.

Good morning

Dementia is cruel and it is not particular when it comes to choosing who it will take down. I lost a cousin and an aunt to Lewy-body dementia. Our 59-year-old neighbor is now in a home after she attempted to set her house on fire. It only took her a few years to become completely unable to live on her own. For the family, it is the most unthinkable thing to witness one's memory and health being completely depleted in just a short time. Hugs and prayers to your family.

What a cruel thing - dementia in all of its forms. So glad she's doing as

well as she is - I hope you both stay well and that life is calm and boring for you.

Good Evening

Sea Gypsy, my brother-in-law is getting the beginning signs of dementia.  When he's with our family he's fine but at times when he's stressed he does show worrisome signs.  When we sit at the table and talk with him he remembers everything from way back when.  They are thinking of putting him in a nursing home with his wife to care for them both.  I'm glad I spent a day with him before his memory slips away.
