It appears that the summer fever has been broken here too. I welcome the cooler temps, yet I am not quite ready for summer to depart as of yet.

Are those live crickets in your hand? I'd find that difficult to get used to. It would be like my nephew feeding a live mouse to his snake.

My plans are to get dressed, set the porch chairs back up now that the
threat of high winds and thunderstorms is over for the day, sip a second cup of coffee, and catch "Inside Edition" on the telly. Maybe toss a salad for lunch, maybe plug in the air fryer and heat up and Impossible chicken patty. Thinking about a post the Library put on FB, looking for volunteers to fill 2-hour shifts in their book resale shop.
