Good Morning
Last evening Caeser was just asking me to make broccoli for his lunch and then I read your post. It made me smile. It's been hot here but we may get storms today. I'm not sure what that will do to our humidity.

Re: Good morning Sherri
Yes, these shoots are supposed to be very nutritious. Years ago when I was an organic vegetable grower. I used to cut the cauliflowers and then push them up and down in water to get rid of the caterpillars. We have to put up with these little indignities as we age.

Good morning
We eat quite a bit of broccoli. I add it to my hamburger soup along with the many other vegetables that go into it. Some strawberries would be nice right about now, especially on top of some pound cake with a dollop of whipped cream. I'm due for my blood test too...or as they call it, my lipid panel. I have to do it yearly due to cholesterol issues and hypothyroidism. Not fun, but necessary.

If all vegetables tasted like strawberries, it'd be easier to get kids to eat their nutritious foods.
