I know your story about Mr. Graysome, and never tire of hearing it. I remember sitting in my truck outside holding Graysome while you went into the Care Center to bring Wiley out to the truck to visit with us. Graysome, although he allowed me to hold him, was focused on the door where he had watched you enter until the moment you both came out. His reaction when he saw his long-lost Wiley approaching the truck still brings tears to my eyes (even as I'm writing this) - it was such a moving moment!

I enjoy your stories about your cat. I remember a time when I did not
like cats at all, and then my little girl spotted a tiny kitten. It was framed in headlights of a car coming from the opposite direction on a divided stretch of highway. She yelled "Mom! Stop! We've got to go back for it. It's gonna get killed!"
So I turned around, we picked her up, poor thing had a broken tail. I said we'd keep her only until we could find a home for her. 19 years later, after my little girl had grown up and gone away to college, Miss Kitty was still with me.
