I know the smoke from our huge forest fires are causing problems in your country too. Out here in the bush we can smell and see it, but just in out little town (where my daughter and oldest son live) it seems to be worse. Maybe our bush provides some relief because our numerous trees and all the vegetation are absorbing some of it, or giving us more oxygen?

COVID isolation and staying indoors reduced the air pollution considerably. What state it is in now since we are back outdoors IDK

I remember as a kid on the farm how at night, we had no problem seeing th Southern Aurora with lots of red and green and then watching Sputnik as it went overhead at night.The sky was always pretty special living in the Woods in Canada as well.

Good morning
I hope that your sister feels better. Pollution and other irritants do seriously affect our health. I have suffered for the past week because of pollen. Allergy pills are helpful, but Pittsburgh has quite a bit of pollution floating around. It appears that the cities with the least amount of pollution are located across the pond. You bringing up my comment brought up that memory for me. I don't know if there is more or less pollution, but I would say it is still too much.

I am not certain about whether 2012 had more or less pollution, but
it does seem to me we get more frequent news about global warming these days, which is due in part to factory smoke, etc. I think there are more storms, more fires, floods, power outages, natural disasters than there were ten years ago.
