I do have time, FSI. And intend to drag it out.

Please don't tell my kids.

Hmm yes - closing the barn door after the horse is stolen there, TAPS!

I regret it sorely, but will see it through. Not long now! And I'll hold you to not letting me get in this fix again!!!

I miss you too, BFF! And you are NEVER a bother!!

Believe me - no more darned courses like this for me in the future! At least if it was study for hockey rules, or writing sessions....it would be much more pleasant!

One has to be very careful with the government taxatioon offices, CCT,

Their employees are not infallible (although they tend to think they are) nor are their computer systems. When I talk to them I note names, dates, times and what the  conversatioon is about. I often ask for a followup email confirming anything discussed. Fortunately I am out of that now - it was driving me to drink!

Re: Good Afternoon

Do you eat it with salt or sugar, Amanda?

Re: Good morning

That's great being able to purchase where you live already and not having to move Rhubarb has always been a favorite of mine, my kids don't feel the same. It's so expensive to  buy, so am happy that the garden yielded so much!! I have a few friends who expect their strawberry-rhubarb pie each year in June.

Re: I enjoy your comments and miss your posts. I totally understand your

UGH! Just the thought of getting everything together and packing to move is overwhelming. I could always put in a slide to go down - though would need a reverse bottom to come back up those stairs.

Thank you, Goldiec.

I have 3 dogs; they are all rescues, and arrived here to stay, each with their own habits and trauma from former living conditions, but are as sweet as can be. I agree with your daughter concerning selling just to buy again. The stairs are already an issue but Ihave been checking out various lifts and home elevators. Time will tell! Wishing you a good day too!

Live where you feel comfortable.

I myself live in a rancher with no basement or steps in the suburbs. Therefore, I do not have to worry about family wanting me to downsize or move. The good news is that you have plenty of time to decide.

So good for us when you take the time to write for us.   We need to know so we can tell you what to do and what not to do to help you make your decisions.

it is lovely when you write in blogit...I love reading my BFF. I have not been bothering you over much of late because I know if you get through this year, you will be able to relax somewhat. At least this firm pay you for the extra hours. I miss you sooo much, love u.

Glad that you are reaping the bounty. I expect your housemate feels quite proud

when she displays the goodies. I am trying to grow melons this year in the

greenhouse I think it must be the kind of environment that suits them now. Just

think once we could only grow decent grapes in greenhouses. We are now

encouraged to make our Tax return online. I nearly had a fit last year I had a

demand FOR 20 Thousand pounds and twenty-five the year after. After a struggle, I

did finally get in contact with a sane person, I was told I had already paid enough

this year. No apologies It could have nobbled an old person. Well of a hundred or so.

Good Afternoon

I've missed your posts.  I just love rhubarb.  Wishing you a wonderful day.

Good morning

I am happy to see that you found the time to catch us up with your goings-on. We are in the middle of downsizing as well. We just purchased the bungalow that we have lived in for the past nine years. The time has come to donate, sell, and get rid of any and all objects that are taking up precious space. As for rhubarb...yuck! I love strawberries though. Have a lovely day!

I enjoy your comments and miss your posts. I totally understand your

back & forth on relocation - tough as the stairs are, they lead to the comfort and familiarity of home. Perhaps after your course of study is done and hockey season is over you can find a good place for your fur babies and yourself with a solid roof and just enough yard.

Good Morning

I was so happy to see that you had posted and I read every paragraph.  I do hope that whatever you want to happen with your home will be.  We are also thinking about moving because we have a lot of land here to take care of.  I have landscapers and that helps.  Our real estate here is very expensive right now and my daughter works in business and she is saying now is not the right time to sell and then buy again.  We will be waiting till prices come down.  We've put a lot of work into this house and if we find another one it may need a lot of work.  In the meantime thank goodness for landscapers.  We have a new roof, a new hot water tank, new electricity, and a new built-in dishwasher, stove, and washing machine.  For the foreseeable future, this is where we will be.  We re-did the back room too and it's got a new ceiling and a fresh coat of paint. We have a long driveway and with my grandson, daughter, and son-in-law living here, it really comes in handy.  I think the steps you have to climb could become an issue at some point but hopefully, that will not be the case while you are there.  I'm so glad you have your son to help you look at houses and see what would be good for you.  How many dogs do you have?  We only have our little Sadie the border collie.  I hope you have a good day.
