The soup sounds divine and then rest after. Naps are good. I need them a lot these days. I am tired all the time. Jim says I don't move around enough. I can't, my back hurts all the time and my stomach does too. I think we get to a stage and we all age differently and some earlier than others.

I think one has to have an interest, Of course, you still miss your son and driving.
Although you still make good meals, most here just buy ready-made, if they can
afford it of course. I do gardening because I have always been used to physical
work. Be proud of what you have done, a lot of done worse.

Good afternoon
The best soups often don't come with a recipe. I too enjoy fresh soup that is packed with vegetables. I love my mother's hamburger soup which has every vegetable known to man. It is simmered away in a stock base that includes beef broth or stock, crushed tomatoes, and tomato paste. However, my favorite soup is a cream-based lump crab soup.

Re: Your pot of soup sounds like just the ticket. Yum.
Yep, I think were in the same boat. I know I'm not doing enough physical things.

Your pot of soup sounds like just the ticket. Yum.
I feel weary, as you described in your post, from doing nothing. If I get out today and go to Walmart, walk the aisles and do a bit of people-watching, I'll sleep better tonight and get up with more energy tomorrow. But if I yield to my urge to crochet, watch TV and doze today, my energy level tomorrow will be way down. Maybe it's knowing nobody else depends on me is part of it.
