Those old train stations have so much history to them. They should be valued.

Your dad must have seen many sights and experienced plenty during that time. That's great that he finally sent them a photo. parents do have a tendency to worry even after we are grown and on our own.

I love old train depots, especially the one in Antlers, Oklahoma where my Dad grew up.  At age 15 he decided he was old enough to go on his own and he hopped a freight leaving the depot area.  He rode freight trains all over Oklahoma and Texas and had many adventures.  His Mom & Dad didn't hear from him again for over three years when he sent them a picture of him taken in Kansas City.
