Thank you Pat I will always feed a starving animal. Some just get a kitten and when it grows they kind of ignore its needs.

The cats own their own selves, from what I've seen of them. They decide
to adopt a human once that human passes muster with suitable food, just enough kind attention, and plenty of respect. Licensing and "ownership" is a construct of lesser beings (people) and it's not your fault, CCT, if there's a paperwork snafu.

The cat probably remembers your kindness. Animals are funny that way. 
As for the unwanted pallets, I would be having a fit if someone stacked a bunch of them in my yard. Have a wonderful day.

I hope Archie moves the pallets. It would be nice if you could get some rain. I'm not sure what to say about the cat. I do think some cats like to be free.
