I have found things to be tough to share at times, and I have gotten through it and felt such a great release...It does seem that abuse is a cycle that is passed down.

I don't know about hereditary, I read up on it but DNA still and probably now always will fascinate me but be ellusive for me to really understand. Like my brain, I know how it works but it amazes me that it can. Trauma affects all of us in different ways. some push it quickly to a part of our brain where it is forgotten, others live it daily, some just at times. For whatever reason we have depression anxiety explosions of temper or energy, I don't really understand. I do know loving someone with trauma from when ever or however, takes patience and real love to be able to help. sometimes we just need a hug, sometimes we need some alone time.
