poor love. i and my best friend and cousin Wendy were molested by her older brothers as little girls. i hid it so deep I completely forgot it. It came back from nowhere one day after she died and now I can't forget/ forgive either.

I can identify with her inability to forget the insult/injury. That others
dismissed it only added to the emotional load. I'm sure your hugs made a huge positive difference in her life.
