The amenities at today's movie theaters are nice. I broke my six-year spell of not going to the theater when I saw The Super Mario Brothers Movie.

Good Morning

Kabu, I love going to the movies.  We have luxury seating at our theater too and I love them.  We are all looking forward to going to the Guardians of the Galaxy 3.  All the kids want to go so it will be fun.  I'm excited to see some of the characters from the first two movies.  I love Groot and Rocket.  I hope you have a good day.

Re: Happy to hear that you enjoyed the experience.

Yes I do remember him, and I used to love the English air-force War movies. Those fly boys were so handsome. Wiley had a photo of himself in England when he was in the Canadian air force...long after WW11 of course but he was dressed in civvies and holding a pet lamb. He did not look like a hero. he looked about 12!

Well, you enjoy most things, so no prob. What do you think might be wrong with a

cat that suddenly does not seem to recognise his owner. Once it would run out of the

greenhouse as I approached and meow or something like that in a friendly greeting.

Now it just looks at me and does not recognise me at all. I wonder if it has

dementia. I don't know how old it is as it was skin and bones when I first saw it.Although the vet said it had been tagged

Re: Good afternoon

We have that luxury theater here that you mention, but the seats are still not all that comfortable. As for war movies, John and I both enjoy them due to our families having so many military backgrounds. One of the best war movies that I have watched to date is the movie 1917. It told of the horrors of war in such a graphic way that you almost felt like you were there.

Good afternoon

John and I try to go to the movies every few months or so, depending on what is playing at the theaters. We went a few months ago and watched 80 for Brady, and then we watched John Wick Chapter 4 about a month ago. The problem with the theater is that the seats aren't that comfortable, and there is no pause button when one needs a potty break.

Happy to hear that you enjoyed the experience.

I never liked war movies, couldn't watch them for the longest time, but there are many really good ones. Do you remember an American movie star - war movies and also cowboy ones - named Audie Murphy?  He was a decorated hero during WWII and came home to become an actor.
