Yes I have met reitred permanents on cruise ships. I enjoyed cruising a few times but not now. Covid and being so tired ended all that for me

It is amazing how much bigger ships have gotten...I would like to take one cruise, but I don't see myself being a regular for the reasons you mentioned.
