In retrospect, but no use saying that, perhaps you could sell a section of land for
another house. I don't suppose land is expensive like it is here though. A small
bungalow a little away from me was put on the market for Four hundred thousand.
House prices have gone down because the interest rates have risen.It still made
Three hundred and fifty thousand, no garden to speak of or it would have been a lot
more.

I dislike workmen coming in for one day for minor things. I can't imagine putting up with them as long as you have. Hurrah for almost done!

This is wonderful news! I look forward to the pictures. As for those chairs that lay back, they are the Devil in disguise. John and I have a matching pair that we sometimes fall asleep in while watching movies late at night.
