Yes one has to pass another test if it appears that they are losing it.Sadly most wait until they have an accident. Probably keep the oldies going a few years longer Tap, Tap.

By the time they take the automobiles off the road, I suspect I would no longer be allowed to drive anyway. They tend to put us through the wringer to get our driver's permit here after a certain age. I'm not so sure romance dies. My foster grandparents were quite elderly, and when Grandpa would tap her bottom on the way past, Grandma would exclain 'Will - the children!' and giggle and blush like a young girl.

Your predictions make a lot of sense to me. I think we could end up with a lack of automobiles sooner than that. It all depends on this work from home and if mass transit ever grows.

I wonder if this will come to pass. That would be an interesting way to live. I supposed we would be safe but I'm not sure how many people would enjoy living underground.
