i do love Elephants.One at the Sydney Zoo who was such a sweet baby when he was grown big enough squashed his keeper against the rails of his encloser and killed him. it was looked into of course and it appears this guy who seemed to love his elephants was cruel with the babies when out of sight. Elephants gon't forget.

I expect they have some kind of memory and try to be consoled by returning to the deceased.

I love elephants...at least to watch. I've never tried to manage one or ride on one.
