I think I have to stop reading again for a while. Too many pent up feelings coming to the surface that I don't care to deal with at the moment. I'm so sorry for all that you went through and managed to not only survive but be a better person.

You described very well today how it was in Australia as well;people didn't interfere with someone else's family back then either. I was blessed from Birth. Not with a wealthy family, a farming family and I had my jobs to do as well. Not as many as you but I was expected to do a list each day. Unless I had become an RN I don't think I would ever know what you were writing about but as you know, one sees everything there.It was then I realized I didn't have just a normal Childhood I had a blessed Childhood in every possible way.
