Sigh. I have to agree with you since i am too old to fly so far unless my health suddenly improves....If only Australia wasn't so far away.

Your ex sounds like the classic narcissist who treated you like one of his things, and didn't recognize you as a person at all, let alone a unique person with feelings and thoughts of your own that mattered. I'm glad you moved on!

Congratulations on the milestone with your car. I have had my car for 20 years. It's my first car and I'm so happy to have it. Lots of great experiences.
