Sometimes it is harder to write of simple things, It has been done. Thank you.

After some hectic activity, you must, of necessity, return to your hermitage.

Re: Re: TAPS

A very interesting comment, anib, and your feelings are not entirely wrong.  I love people but I can only be with, around people so long and then I must get away...to quiet, to nature, to music, to thinking, ro reading, to praying....

Aba Brother

I had to have a quick read. It sounds like an amazing poem, one I have not read but will do so. Also a bit of a conundrum if the Ode to Simplicity is not as Simple as it should be. But in the time it was written true simplicity was not in favor, methinks, so perhaps the critics were a bit harsh - or on point. I don't know. Great post, great to read, and intriguing. Thank you so much, Brother Aba.

Re: TAPS

I have read (heard) many of your poems, stories, that gives me the feel of your heart being that of the hermits.

I've always had a bit of a hermit's heart.  I've always been happiest when I could spend time alone in a place of nature and sing my heart out without bothering anyone else.

Thank you dear teacher. I really enjoyed this. I believe everything I have written that has ever been published was for the simple people; Not the great intellectuals or the rich and famous but for others like me.
