Haha - reading this, my thoughts were along the same line as the one in Pat's comment. I'm preyty sure I would rather have slept with your turkeys than the ones I had!

Turkeys in the bedroom. I did have to laugh. i remember one time i had a chicken who became broody with a Turkey egg and she hatched and raised it. Even when it was grown up they would sit together on the wooden fence and she would put her wing as far around that Turkey as far as it would go. They lived together for years.

Ciel, I loved this post. I had no idea when a turkey went to sleep he was out. I can't imagine sleeping with one turkey much less two in my room. I'm glad you built them a pen.

I have slept with spiders ,little blighters can give one a nasty nip. I hope the turkeys 
were nappy trained.

I've slept with a turkey or two... only wish I'd kept them in a pen
in the back yard. Love your description of the morning glow.
