Oh my! I don't think I have ever heard one that wasn't not in the zoo.

I suppose we are a bit too crowded for such animals foxes do breed in my cousins garden, but I suspect they are too nervous to approach anyone. Not nice, it is amazing how creatures adapt if they are not hunted.

Coyotes are one of the few animals i don't like. On the property in Canada they would yip loudly when they made a kill. Diferent entirely to the Wolves who would call to each other intheir beautiful head lifted howl.

I imagine they've lost their inhibitions about people since we are now in their areas.

I've noticed on the trail I go to, rabbits and squirrels will linger closer to people. I imagine it's losing the inhibitions of people but also, people feeding them.

Good afternoon

You're right, they see people as nothing more than dinner. It's all a large food chain that comes down to survival of the fittest.

Something like that can be very nerve wracking for people who live there.  I would hate having to continually worry about my great-grandchildren at play...not about that anyway.  There's always something to make one keep watch.

It will take a bloody incident before the Powers That Be will act to

get these coyotes moved to someplace in nature where they can live according to their instincts. It's just the way people in organized society seem to be. Be careful.

Good Morning

Sea Gypsy, I think we have the cousins of your Coyotes.  They travel in packs and they are everywhere.  You can hear them in the distance during the nighttime hours.  I guess you could call it a howl and it will wake you right up out of a sound sleep.

Our state brought the Coyotes here to limit the deer population. I'm here to tell you it did not work.  We have deer everywhere and lots of Coyotes.  Sometimes I wonder about the people in charge.  I think they should have thought long and hard before they brought the Coyotes in.  They clearly did not think it through from beginning to end.  If I said that to anyone they would say I was wrong but I assure you I'm right.

Our village gives us alerts to watch out for small children, dogs, and cats.  I'm not sure what the plan would be if a pack attacked someone.  It would not go well under any circumstances.

I'm sorry that you are dealing with the same thing that we are dealing with in our community.  I hope you stay safe and your neighbors stay safe.  Have a good day!
