Kabu, my pulled muscle really is very painful.  I've been taking it easy and hoping for the best.  I hope you are enjoying your day!

Re:

Sea Gypsy, thank you so much for your good thoughts.  Our meatloaf was delicious.  I've been resting and staying off my leg as much as I can.  The sooner this pain goes away the better.

Re:

FSI, meatloaf really is good for a dinner meal.  It's very filling and tastes good too.  Do you cook often?

Re: Good morning

Sherri, Roy said our barrels are full too.  I think soup and sandwiches are perfect for dinner.  Steak tacos sound really good too.  We like Rib-eye too.  I hope you have a good day.  Stay cool!

Good morning

It's been really hot here too. It rained today, so my rain barrel is full once again. Meatloaf is always a great meal for a Monday, and I never get tired of mashed potatoes. I bought a cucumber and red onions yesterday. I plan to make a small cucumber salad for Wednesday's dinner. We are having soup and sandwiches tonight, and tomorrow John is getting steak tacos. We found an inexpensive Rib-eye that I will slow cook in a seasoned taco sauce that mimick's his favorite from our local Mexican restaurant.

Ooooh, meatloaf! I do like a good meatloaf!

What everyone else said about the muscle strain... Do take care, and consider how many books you can sit and read while you let that leg rest up!

Re:

Taps, I sure hope it heals quickly because it's definitely slowing me down.

Re: I hope your leg is better very soon, but your hubby is right.

Pat, I just hung up from the doctor's office.  They are supposed to call me back.

I looked this up on google and I hope it doesn't take this long for you to get some relief:  "How long does it take for a pulled muscle to heal once your leg muscle is strained?  time and rest are needed to allow the muscle to heal. A mild or grade I strain may need ten days to three weeks to heal. A severe strain to the hamstrings may take up to six months. The healing outlook depends on the location and the severity of the muscle strain."

I agree with Pat - better safe than sorry. We all enjoy cucumber salad too. I make it often in the summer.

I hope your leg is better very soon, but your hubby is right.

You may have more of an injury than it first seemed. Better safe than sorry.
