- Go to and another boiling hot day.
And you already know why I love the winter so much - it isn't just for the scenery! Heat drains us. Please be careful down there!

My father, shortly after he learned to drive, would go onto unfamiliar roads and get lost so that he could find another way back. The man knows a million and one ways to get to places.

Good Morning
I hope you are finding ways to stay cool as the temperatures go up up up! It's going to be hot all week here. It will be in the 90s with high humidity. Fall cannot get here fast enough for me. We drink Lipton tea too but I haven't made sun tea this year. It's hot enough to make it though. It rained yesterday and it's raining today. It's the first rain we've had in a while. I love it. My peppers need a good drink of water. We have jalapenos ready to pick. I hope you have a good day.

Never heard of sun tea. The oldies used to say a red hot of cup of tea, water straight
off the fire would cool one down. Goodness they were tough in those days. I wonder
if you miss your water, I mean in Canada it was not piped I assume. We used to have
brill well water it drained down from the cemetery

My girls loved to make sun tea when they were in Middle School and High School. So they did! It is refreshing. Hope it cools down for you there. You always write such pleasant posts.

Good evening
My mom always made sun tea when I was a kid. She used an old gallon pickle jar that she sat in the sun after she filled it with Lipton tea bags, water, and lemons. Thanks for jarring my memory.

I've only tried sun tea a few times. I liked it, but was always so busy
with job, kids, housework, shopping, etc., etc. that I'd forget it was out there on the back deck. Your bit about directions and not being able to sense which way you're going surprised me. Now that I think about it, our sense of balance and the way the seasons go is all topsy-turvy from that of the Land Down Under. I think I'd be very confused by it if I ever got lucky enough to visit Australia. Lucky you have Jim to serve as your Geo Positioning System...
