The wild turkeys seen fairly tame, animals soon adjust to different conditions.

I would imagine it is quite tiring working under humid conditions. Legs are so precious take care.

I'm so glad your knee is feeling better after the shot. Sometimes I wish they could just give a full-body shot!  Yes, the humidity is killer. It is very hard to deal with. Sounds like you had a good day and your plants are beautiful.

we used to get Turkeys eating bird seed and grasses back up in Canada.

My hair has always reacted horribly to humidity, and yet, and yet, I am thankful for my hair.

Sherri, I know you are going to have fun!  The band sounds awesome!

The girls meet us when they are off, but they are all working tonight. A few of our friends will be there though, so it will be a fun night. The band playing tonight features a good mix of jazz, blues, R&B, old-school rock, and modern hits. https://youtu.be/sMhBYYQC5L8

Re: Good afternoon

Sherri, have fun on Plum Street.  Do you walk downtown?  Are the girls meeting you there?

Good afternoon

It has been humid here all week. The rain cooled it down a bit last night, but today we are back to hot and humid. I love vibrant red flowers. I have a few of them planted in pots. My Geraniums compliment my white and blue flowers in a patriotic pot that I design every year. Have a great day. It's Thursday, so we are headed downtown later for our Plum Street live music.

Re:

FSI, I've been to the piers in Maryland and the humidity is beyond belief there.

Re:

Ciel, I did live in Arkansas for 5 years and that was even worse.  When you walked outside it was like walking into a blast furnace.

Re: Be careful around those turkeys - they can be aggressive.

Pat, I know they can and I'm actually afraid of them but if you could have seen the little ones it was a sight to see.

The humidity is the biggest factor for the hotness outside. I once met a woman from Trinidad. She said the Maryland humidity really got her and hadn't experienced anything like that at home.

How cool is that, having wild turkey visitors in your yard!  And I feel ya, in regards to humidity. It's tropical in the Eastern half of the nation in summer time, and the main reason I live in Colorado!
