I remember when farmers burned the straw on the fields,but of course several years ago it was always fairly wet. Not so now. Hope the pills work, I keep forgetting to take mine.

I love watching fireworks which is entwined with guilt for such a waste of money that could be used by the city in so many better ways but also because of the risk of fires.

Good Afternoon
They have banned fireworks in our village and I for one am thankful. There will still be people throwing fireworks in the air and shooting guns. It always worries me. We don't have a fire department in our village and we rely on surrounding fire departments for our services. I hope you get rain.

I think smoke in the air would worry me, and I also detest fireworks,
and the idjits who shoot off guns to celebrate the 4th. Like my old doggie who used to want to crawl under my chair around this time of year, I just want it to stop. I hope your day is at least pleasant if not cool and the sky is clear.
