Experience counts whatever one may think. When one has been around the block
nearly forever repetition is apparent. So many doubts and problems can be sourced
back to one's formative years. Sadly parents may even without thinking install
negative thoughts. Sorry, I don't know much about your other blog.

Good Evening
Pat, I loved this post. I believe there are no truer words than what a grandparent will say to one of their children. They've lived many years and seen many things and they have experience on their side when it comes to the world. They want the best for their families and try to point them in the right direction. The younger ones may listen and then again they may not but I can guarantee they will never forget the words of wisdom from someone that loves them.

Good afternoon
Caring grandparents are the most amazing gift that a child can have. Jealousy fueled by alcohol can be damaging to any relationship, especially between a mother and daughter. You hit the nail on the head with this one and almost completely channeled my own mother and me. Some things are hard for a person to see until someone points out the obvious, and her grandmother's words of advice were straight from the heart. One day she may look back and understand what her grandmother was telling her.

great story and wonderful message for us to read. When I used to go to AA with Wiley as his driver as he became older, I learned so much from those wonderful and very courages folks.
