- Go to WHAT ABOUT THAT BABY?
How i enjoyed this. i was 40 and just divorced with 2 teenage boys when i went to university ; my RN three year intensive course in phsyciatric and general nursing. At the end of a lecture on infant care the lecturer asked for oppinions and i stood and gave a little talk saying almost exactly as your poem. i too was almost booed out of the lecture hall from stary eyed kids who longed to become Mom!

Good Afternoon
I think the younger students will have their own beliefs about how things are and it will take years before they understand what someone tried to tell them. I wish I would have listened way back when!

I guess you could have told them a lot. I remember a young girl saying to me I have been looking after someone's baby. She looked so adorable, and really I was not prepared for her to smell so strongly.
