I've noticed several of the local squirrels, a pair of doves, a redbird
and half an hour ago a brown bunny rabbit in my yard and the one next door. My new neighbor has been working for hours every day planting flowers, laying fieldstone walkways, setting up planters and decorative walls. Her place is going to look like an ad for a garden shop before she's done. Very attractive.

late Spring is certainly a happy time of the year. not too hot to be able to enjoy outside and watching the return of color excites me so much.

Good afternoon
A fresh rain always brings the birds and other small animals around. Those squirrels never fail to notice when something is different. I wasn't sure if they would manage, but my perennials survived the chill from last night. Nature does always seem to find a way to keep on keeping on.
