It takes time. I never thought this far out from losing Judy, I would still be struggling to accept her death. I knew it was going to happen, I expected it, but when it actually happened, I was devastated.

That does sound like a healing idea. I remember after Wiley's ashes were interred the 10 people allowed at the graveside(covid) came back to the house and there was a huge amount of food and some drinks. I don't remember eating, I did sip at a cooling drink but I think I only spoke to them as though they were strangers. I did say thank you at one stage but have no idea if everyone was in the kitchen or in the living room with me. Perhaps some day I can have a little party again for Wiley...not yet though. not yet.
