C_C_T, things are so expensive here that we have to shop for bargains. I've heard a lot about the Bird flu but I don't know if it's in this area.

Ciel, we always try to keep frozen ground meat in the freezer and I was down to my last pack. I was waiting for a sale. I do make chili, spaghetti, and meatloaf but I've never made lasagna. My daughter-in-law makes delicious lasagna. She watched her grandma and mom make it over the years. When I was growing up my family never made lasagna. I didn't know what it was.

Sassy, Roy loves his hamburger with everything on it. I like my burger plain. I've never had a burger with green chiles and Monterey Jack cheese.

Mmm... a good burger is amazing! BJ Brew House has a Wed special--any burger, $10 or so. And they are good burgers! Sounds like you are well-prepared for many good burgers... and homemade chili, and meatloaf, and lasagna and...

Gas prices are holding steady where I am at, thankfully. The state gas tax has been waived. Maybe that has something to do with it.

Good morning
Roy has great taste in food. Hamburgers are a part of an awesome food group. They are so versatile. We love them too. I like a good rodeo burger or a mushroom swiss burger while John loves jalapeno burgers. My parents make a burger with green chiles and Monterey Jack cheese. Whatever the burger, when I make them at home, I always choose good buns and I toast them.
