Losing electric for that long is something. I feel so helpless when I don't have my electric working.

This is where a laptop is handy, with its several hours of battery life! I guess smart phones are the same, with even longer lives.

Bummer! I know what it is to have no electricity for a day, even for more than a day. It can certainly mess up a day, but there's always tommorrow. Hope it goes better!! Had to giggle at the image of 3 ducks waddling off to a new adventure...

I suppose we do rely on electricity so much these days, well Gas as well. You will have to get a laptop when the funds allow.
