I'm not a fan of zucchini. I think it's a texture thing.

Re: Good morning

Sassy, I'm happy to say I just finished my butter and it turned out awesome.  I heated up some French bread and Roy and I had some.  My butter was a complete success and I'm going to put it in the fridge for when we heat up the rest of the bread.  I'm so proud of myself.  I told Roy I felt like I was churning butter.  Of course, the food processor did all the work.  I said I felt like a Pioneer woman. Roy said he's the one that went to the store for the heavy cream.  As far as cake goes white is my favorite but I do have some chocolate lovers in the group.  I hope you have a great Sunday.  I love your ferns.  They are beautiful.  I told Roy we need to get some for the living room.

Re: Re: Goldiec

Taps, we always grow zucchini in the garden.  I make a recipe that I made up years ago called zucchini soup.  It really is good and it's all vegetables.  When I eat it I feel like I'm eating a healthy meal.

Re: The good thing about trying new recipes instead of crocheting beanies

Pat, I have never attempted lasagna but I did find a recipe on Betty Crocker for lasagna roll-ups that I would like to try.  It doesn't sound too complicated.  I can't wait to try my new recipe for zucchini bread.  I think it's wonderful that you make crocheting beanies for others.  I know it's so appreciated by everyone.

Good morning

I believe that your butter will turn out just fine. Trying new things scares me too. 18 is the age of independence, at least it was for me. Chocolate on chocolate is what I recently made with the addition of chocolate pudding in the middle and a side of chocolate ice cream. That would not have been my choice, but John requested it, so there it was. Yellow or vanilla cake is my preference. I also like zucchini bread, so that would be a winner for me. Tonight I am watching Lincoln on the History Channel at 9:00. I thought that it was last week but I got my dates messed up. Good luck with your butter.

Re: Goldiec

I love Zucchini Bread....never met a recipe I didn't like.  Had an old Auntie who grew them like mad and gave them away.  For a family of six it was an easy thing to make.

and scarves is that the food doesn't take up storage space in the junk room. I'm in the mood to try lasagne today - pasta is such a comfort food in winter time. I know your zucchini bread will be great!
